Legal Compliance

I affirm that the following statements are true and accurate:
Individuals that are currently involved in a lawsuit with the City of Houston are prohibited from making contributions to city political campaigns. Contributions are not tax deductible. This campaign contribution is made in connection with the 2010 Primary Election. Under Texas law, there is a $5,000 individual contribution limit, and $30,000 aggregate limit on the contributions of a law firm in connection with any one election. All lawyers and other employees are considered members of the firm and count toward the $30,000 contribution limit of that firm. A $5,000 limit is placed on an individual member of the firm in connection with any one election. A contribution by the spouse or a child is considered a contribution by the individual. The $30,000 limit on the law firm is placed on all contributions from members of a firm including contributions by spouses and children.
